Bharat Vikas Parishad Powai Branch Mega Haemoglobin Health Camp Organized For 500 Girls

On 23rd July 2022 Mega Haemoglobin Health Camp of 500 girls was organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Powai-Chandivali Branch under the National Project – Anemia and Malnutrition Free India and Healthy Nation – Healthy Daughter in the courtyard of Sandesh Vidyalaya, Vikhroli.

Women and Child Development Coordinator, Mrs.Sanjeevlata Samdani said that the blood samples of about 500 girl students were collected and examined. Medicines, sanitary napkins, biscuits, etc were distributed to them. She informed that after the blood test, and on the basis of the reports, arrangements for medical consultation, necessary treatment, and health counselling were also taken in the institution. The Development Council of India will continue to provide this type of health service program in the future which is also necessary for a healthy nation - healthy mother and daughter, Beti Padhao -. May the mission of this branch be successful.

Dr. Sanjeev Athani advised on treatment due to anemia. Mrs. Manju Sharma gave her views and advice on proper nutrition in case of anemia. Shri Bal Krishna Ji Pradhan of 'Beti Foundation' and his team organized a 'Self Defense' program for girls and presented it in a very beautiful way. In this program, the Branch President, Dr. Neeraj Tulara arranged medicines for the needy girls.
