Grand Kabaddi Tournament 2023 Organized by Morya Sports Club, Nerul, Navi Mumbai

A Famous Powaikar sportsman Mr. Swapnil Sambhaji Daund recently concluded Grand Kabaddi Tournament organized by Morya Sports Club, located in Powai, Mumbai, proved to be a thrilling event for sports enthusiasts. The tournament was held on 14th May 2023 at Sector 18, Kabaddi Ground, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. commenced with a grand opening ceremony graced by eminent personalities and social workers from the community.

The success of the Grand Kabaddi Tournament would not have been possible without the diligent efforts of Mr. Swapnil Sambhaji Daund, the President of Morya Sports Club and Resident of Powai. who efficiently managed and coordinated the entire event. During the program, Mr. Karan More extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the attendees, donors, well-wishers, and dignitaries who contributed to the tournament's success.

The objective behind organizing this Kabaddi tournament was to promote the significance of sports, physical fitness, and overall health among local children while fostering the development of Kabaddi skills among players. The inaugural ceremony was blessed by the presence of esteemed individuals such as Mr. Rajusheth Tikone, Mr.Bhagwan Bhor, Vishal Gadge, Mr.Santosh Barve, Mr Sujit Bhor, and Mr. Arvind Ingwale.

The tournament witnessed the participation of 16 teams, all vying for the top spot. The competition was fierce, and the sports-loving community of Nerul was treated to a display of intense and spectacular matches. Ultimately, the Shiravne Kabaddi team emerged victorious, securing the first position. The Hiranandani Sports Club Powai claimed the second position, while the King Brothers and KCK Kharghar secured the third and fourth positions, respectively.

Throughout the tournament, individual players showcased their exceptional talent and skills. Yash Chorge was recognized as the best tackler, Sarvadeep Mane as the best catcher, and Jatin Ghashe was awarded the title of Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.

The presence of prominent figures from various fields, including social, political, educational, and religious sectors, added prestige to the event. Notable personalities like Mr. Rajusheth Tikone Saheb, Mr. Bhojmal Patil, Mr. Sanjayji Pathare Saheb, Mr. Girish Mhatre, Mr. Devnath Mhatre, Mr. Akshay Kale, Mr. Shivaji Nana Fadtare, Mr. Sanjivan Awte, Mr. Bhagwan Bhor Saheb, Mr. Ganesh Sheth Chowdhury, Mr. Nitin Naikede, Mr. Avinash Tambade, Mr. Datta Sheth Borchte, Mr. Namdev Shirawale, Mr. Vishnu Dethe, Mr. Sachin Lovete, Mr. Aniket Awte, Mr. Vignesh Madhvi Sachin Dighe, and Mr. Dilip Yadav graced the occasion with their presence.
